why do people think nerlens noel is so good i mean yeah he is a beast defender but he is an offensive liability although since they play no defense in the nba maybe his offensive game will improve but in reality his defense is why he is so highly regarded plus the celtics suck now they had their run they are old even if they tank and get noel they still are old they need to completely sell off all their older pieces now and rebuild from scratch i say raise the white flag

I don't understand how guys like Noel, Zeller, and Len are getting so much more love than Isaiah Austin. 7'1", long arms, athletic, great outside shot for a big man.

Nerlens is so raw BUT HE'S 18 YEARS OLD. You can't teach that length and athleticism. His defense and rebounding have improved an incredible amount this year and in a few years (you know, when he's at the ripe old age of 22-23) his offense will come along too.
Judging a 18 year old's offensive game (who went to college a year earlier, he reclassified if you didn't know) is just dumb. He'll get drafted highly just because of what he could be with NBA coaches coaching him. Hate it or love, it's what's going to happen and with how hard he's worked, he deserves it.
