Outnumbered by Giants fans. They're the "other" team in New York.
Kind of like if they did that for the NBA. There would be no Clippers visible on the map.

I love everyone saying the map is incorrect. It's pulled from data of people actually listing their fandom. The largest team represented gets the color. So Columbus, OH may be 22% steelers but that could very well be the largest representation of a single team.

lots of cowboys fans in southern virginia and northeast north carolina.
Was kinda surprised by that. Around Raleigh there are obviously plenty of panthers fans and tons of steelers fans. Never met a cowboy fan around here at least. Seen more redskins fans

I think this map is clearly much more accurate than that map that was posted the other day. It had the most popular team in NW Ark as the Chiefs. I lived there for 6 years and never once met a chiefs fan. Arkansas is basically 100 percent cowboy territory.

Not sure about SW Kansas being Dallas fans. Most of the people I met around there were either KC or Denver fans.
I'd also be curious what the San Francisco area would look like if the Raiders were good and the Niners were trash.

TIL today...OhFace55 either can't read maps and charts or he is colorblind. That is Green Bay fans not Eagles fans.
Lots of Wisconsin people settled in S.Central AK during a colonization effort before statehood. Surprising how many have roots in Rural Wisconsin.

There should be a little Patriot Dot in louisiana.

It's weird that S Jersey is all Philly fans. My buddy is from there and he roots for all of em.
No it's not. South Jersey = Philadelphia.

I like that San Antonio is still a Saints town.

I thought Shreveport was Cowboys country.

meh
Florida needs to be just some random color and
the steelers do not own NC and SC like that. Or all of WV and that much Ohio
and to say dallas owns that much VA is funny

North and South Carolina used to be the redskins tv market. Until the pathers came is was steelers and redskins

Teams like the Cowboys, Redskins, Steelers and Green Bay etc. have lots of fans everywhere in the US. Really hard to map those fan bases.
this this and this, throw the giants in eagles in that as well.
These fan bases take over away stadiums b/c so many people move from those areas.
Yes the steelers and cowboys have loads a fans not even from the area but thats just how it is.

That struck me as weird. We played, what, 3 games there? and lost 2 of them. Was it really that impressionable to the point more people there watch the Saints than the Cowboys?

I agree with this. I know plenty of Steelers' fans from work and the surrounding establishments, with Browns' fans next, and then third Bengals' fans.
I just wish the Raiders were good again.

Not sure where anyone is saying Birmingham area is Falcons. I have lived here since '88 and everyone I know hates the Falcons. Plus you see more Saint decals and Titan decals on vehicles.
