Rodgers can offer a replay...just saying. Wenger did it against Sheffield few years ago

Yeah, I dont think a first year coach that still has factions of the fan base that don't believe in him will do that... but he could...

Wenger probably had that good will built up with the fans at that point...

The American dream. Or in this case, the Midlands dream.

That article is retarded.

quote:

We've all seen penalties awarded in ridiculous circumstances when an unwitting defender has the temerity to be stood around 30cm away when a ball is blasted at high speed against their arm.

Which makes it all the more baffling Suarez's handball was not called.

quote:

and perhaps the time has come for certain individuals not to be castigated purely because of their sins of the past.

Ok, because Suarez has shown a penchant for cheating and controversy in the past, it means he didn't do it on purpose this time?

Whether it was deliberate or not matters little, really. There is no way of knowing what went through his head. Instinct may have kicked in or he may have thought to himself "hey, I have a nasty reputation to uphold!"

But if you've watched Suarez in any decent capacity over his career, you will know that the way he kicked the ball into the net and then "celebrated" the goal was as tame as can be. He clearly wasn't happy about scoring the goal, and thought it wouldn't be counted.

First thing I thought. He was pissed at himself for it. That's his frustrated movement.

This board didn't sound so much as a fricking peep when Peter Crouch did much worse. And they wonder why we get so touchy over the issue.

I'm staying out of this discussion because I'm sure to upset someone no matter what I say.

I'd either be a hater or a people-pleaser.
