No…losing 35-7 to Kansas State in the Big 12 Championship Game is what I would call getting handled. Also…that Sugar Bowl game was never in doubt.

LSU shut down OU that game.

Finger tips away from being sent into OT, but you are probably right about it "
never being in doubt" since it was in New Orleans. The Cotton Bowl will eventually replace the Sugar Bowl and New Orleans soon, so it will be a different bowl game experience for OU and UTex.

New Orleans is basically Beirut, so it won't be long now.

Before you start with the USC argument, just remember they lost to unranked Cal that season.

Tajh Boyd looked like Johhny Football going for almost 350 yards and accounting for 3 TDs. Johnny Manziel (I'm talking about their style of offense which is unique for the SEC, I obviously know Texas A&M is in the SEC) torched Alabama in BDS.

You can call it getting exposed, but LSU had to play 100 snaps against Clemson

You're probably not going to win when that happens

Florida lost because their offense sucked and they turned the ball over....not because of their defense.

Pick 6, Onside Kick (with the 2 15 yard penalties), and dumbass INT by Driskel at the start of the 4th Q were the difference in the game.

Seriously, as much as that could've been an even bigger blowout by Louisville, that easily could've been a 1 possession game, even with how Louisville torched FL's defense.

This years LSU defense is missing 4 NFL DB's that were on last years team plus a 1st rd DT that was the BEST d lineman we had. Brockers clogged the middle. Mo Claiborne was best cb in country, Brandon Taylor covered Eric Reid's mistakes, Ron Brooks was our dime back, but would start at corner at 95% of BCS schools. Then you had the Honey Badger who was the best defensive playmaker in CFB.

This years LSU Defense was mediocre after the aTm game. No depth and very young in defensive backfield

My question is (and I know it took a while to get here), does this year change your perception of last year in regards to the LSU, Alabama, Oklahoma State argument?

i could have sworn LSU took Oregon and West Virginia to the shed last year

you don't think WVU's 4 turnovers and LSU's special teams TD had a large impact in that victory? WVU had over 500 yards of offenses and 450 yards passing.
dude, we kicked their butts...we had a short TD drive, a kickoff return for TD and a long pass for a TD...that was one game where yards gained was meaningless.

Huh? Crazy turnovers and bad play calling lost that game. Fla wins 8 out of 10 times imo

So UF wins 80% of the time over Louisville? I'm calling bullshite, especially if you have watched UF all year. A majority of their games could have gone either way. The fact that they finished with two losses is a minor miracle (and I think most honest UF fans would concede that point).
