I am in Lafayette, which is where I grew up. The boudin is so much better on this side of the basin for some reason. This year we did a taste off between Best Stop, Don's and T-Boy's. The T-Boy's is awesome and got the Gold. Best Stop was a close second for the Silver and Don's came in third.

Good info to have. I almost stopped Saturday on the way home to pick some up, but didn't and now regret it.
I love Texas, but we can't get good boudin over here.

Best Stop is world class and is only 1 mile North of I-10 at the Scott exit. T-Boy's is in Mamou and will take more effort.

isn't billy's the new place in scott? Also, if your driving all the way to mamou...... kinda have to stop in Mowata. Remember running the roads out there looking for where the geese were when we were freshman in Juco. Come back from Oklahoma, drink miller lite and eat mowata boudin.... good shite.
