Anybody else a hunting this morning? I have my daughter on Christmas Eve and she's at her moms on Christmas Day. So my Christmas morning tradition is to be in the woods
42 degrees
Ground blind over a travel route
Wind outta the south, east , north , and west. No shite the wind blowing so hard I can't tell where it's coming from haha
Hoping to let the xbolt .308 bark this morning

Thanks deacon. I'd settle for a slickhead nanny bout now. I'm pulling an 0'fer on the deers this season. Spent too much time chasing ducks this year haha

No IST for me but I did run trapline this morning. Had a huge yote pull the stake as I was walking up. Kind of feeling sick, hate loosing a trap but really hate having an injured animal running around.

On the throne after coffee and donuts, kids just opened gifts. High winds and torrential rain, no hunting today. Supposed to be calm and cold tomorrow though.

I was thinking about running and getting in the duck blind for a couple hrs between family functions after the pain I put on them yesterday. But wife kept me in bed.

This. Kinda glad I'm going back to work tomorrow although I'd rather go hunting

Ended up seeing a doe and a cow horn spike. Bucks are rutting around our lease so I let lil man walk hoping to see ole papaw. Going back in the morning to try to catch'em coming from a cornfield
