Just bought my first handgun, Ruger 380 LCP w/ lasersight

Actually my first in about 20 years.
I wanted something small, concealable.
While I was there (Hebert Guns), the AR-15's were flying off the shelves. They sold a 1/2 dozen while I stood waiting on background check. Channel 9 showed and interviewed the owner about the AR's and other assault weapons.

No it's because a ton of gun shops and other major retailers are starting to pull guns off shelves with all the gun law talks.

Cool pocket gun, just letting you know the trigger sucks. Gonna have to get used to what seems like an eternity before it drops. Congrats though!

make sure to carry in a holster that covers the trigger, not just in your pocket there is no saftey on the weapon.
Also I would reccomend Hornady Critical Defense for carry and FMJ for practice.

I keep the same pistol in my truck. I really don't like how it shoots. Way to small, but I guess that's the point of it. I don't have a laser on it

I actually went in not wanting a Ruger because of the long trigger pull, but it is for defense not target shooting.
I wanted a Walther, but they didn't have any pocket size

I know what you mean, all guns are assault weapons, but Ch9 trying the shock value story of "assault weapons".
