Doing a beer exchange with a buddy in Lafayette and was looking for beer I can get in Florida and Alabama that is not available in his area. I've been gone 3 years so behind the La beer times. He's saving a couple Parish reserve for me and I'm bringing Yengling Black and Tan, Bells, Good People, and Jester King so far. Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure that Alesmith beers are distributed on one side of the state line there.

So basically any beer you guys would want for Christmas! What about Southern Tier? He does home brew and does not like Very hoppy IPAs.

Not available in LA... good stuff too. Some of their stouts are phenomenal.

Get him some TampaBay Brewing Old Elephant Foot IPA and Cigar City Maduro and for session beer Florida Ave. Ale. The Florida Ave IPA sucks so stay away from it. Has a distinct chemical aftertaste.

This. Don't miss their seasonal stouts, especially the Double Cream Stout. One of my personal favorites!
