lean protein, if you're a meat eater nuts, seeds berries, apples try out different types of greens. My favorite is arugula My favorite dressing is to lightly cover the salad with a basic balsamic vinaigrette- balsamic, olive oil, some dijon, s&p, whisk.

I've become a fan of entrée salads because they're so quick and easy. I keep on hand the boxed greens, usually arugula, spring mix, or baby spinach. If you pay attention to the expiration dates, a box will last three or four days in the fridge. I'll add grapes and cherry tomatoes, sometimes an apple or bermuda onion slices, strawberries in season, cheese crumbles and croutons. I usually buy a pound of chicken schwarma at Arzi's and add that to the salad for the protein, sometimes a small seared tuna steak if I've got one defrosted. Dressing is either a good balsamic or Heinz salad vinegar with EVOO. I also like an occasional Caesar salad and think it's hard to beat Kraft Original Caesar dressing.

spinach, cherry tomato, cucumber, baby carrots, red onion and pepper. low fat ranch or fat free italian. maybe some nuts, avocado, low fat cheese. grill a chicken breast and cut it into strips and put it in the salad.

Ooooh, a tuna steak would be a great addition. Never thought of doing that Saw Cesar dressing mentioned- you can also easily make your own. The bottle guys may add sugar. Sensation Salad dressing is also awesome.

My go to ingredients include (which people might be tired of hearing about): Arugula Grape tomatoes Red onion Pine nuts Cheese: Blue, sharp cheddar, whatever you like, but not in large amounts Fresh dill Protein of your choice My dressing isn't a healthy one, so I can't help you there (last night it was mayo mixed with sriracha).

If by healthy you mean weight loss stay away from cheese, eggs, avocado and especially nuts. Otherwise those are great suggestions.

Balsamic like already explained or. Mash garlic clove up with fork, use a little salt to help. Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Add grated parm. for a less healthy but better dressing.

Completely disagree. Those can actually aid in weight loss if consumed in the correct proportions.

if someone prepares classic cesar sald table side every night then I'm moving in with them. I've had to do it more times than I care to remember- it's actually not that bad.

When I lived in Chicago one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants was a Hungarian place that specialized in tableside Caesar salads. They made a big production out of it just like the guy in the video. I got spoiled.

Baby carrots marinated in spicy pickle juice for a week. Sweet yet salty. A great addition to any salad and a good use for leftover pickle juice

I have no idea whether what you are saying is correct. I know that nuts and avocados are big points with Weight Watchers.

Very high calorie content but eating (in small portions) avacados, almonds, walnuts etc. is very good for you and can actually help you burn fat.
