It's not their brand, it's their QB. He's pretty good..... (though LSU did a good job against him, he is going to sell some tickets and generate some interest in watching the game on TV....)

What most don't pay attention is the fact that Alabama needs to only beat LSU to win the SEC west next year.

totally agree.
It's time for someone at LSU to take a stand against the SEC. Whether it's scheduling or bowl selection or whatever, it's time for Alleva to make known that LSU is done putting up with this shite.

It's Alabama's conference. They run it and they get what they want.
No one is going to care if the LSU administration pitches a fit because they aren't getting their way...because, ultimately, LSU can't do anything about it.

Well they do have the Heisman winner. Take away Johnny Football and LSU likely gets that bid, though taking an in-state team is never a bad idea for a bowl (Think LSU in the sugar bowl)

Its much more likely they only need to beat aTm.
LSU has UF/UGA
Bama has UT/UK
aTm has Mizzou/Vandy
Bama beats aTm and the WORST that they get is a 3 way tie, and in that scenario Bama's likely top 1-2 preseason ranking will come in very handy.
LSU is going to have to beat Bama/aTm and 1 of the east teams. That's a tall order.

What were South Carolina's pretty wins at the end of the season? That 3 pt win over Tennessee must've blown them away or maybe it was the 17 pt win over Wofford that was 7-7 going into the 4th.

I've been saying the same thing for weeks now. We play Florida, Bama, Georgia.
They play TN, who will be rebuilding, Arkansas (who will be rebuilding), Auburn (who will be rebuilding), and Kentucky. OOC they play Georgia State and freaking Chattanooga. They've got one big game, that's it.
And watch they'll be right at the top in the preseason ranks. All they have to do is beat those scrub teams, get ready for the game against us, that's it.
Freaking BS.
