Four more years... like Barack Obama. I want some rapper to make a shoutout to Miles Plumlee. If Hedo Turkoglu ends up on a rap record, so can he.

I am sick of Plumlee's. I am sick of Coach K belly-aching about every call that goes against Duke. I am sick of the Cameron Crazies. I am so over Duke that it isn't funny. I am also sick of every student section in general that does the chant from Seven Nation Army over and over and over. frick you Penn State for starting that shite.

End of rant.

As a huge Duke fan I understand the hate for them. At the same time, I'm also a huge basketball fan in general and a student of the game. I watched the whole game last night against OSU and it made me an even bigger fan. Watching the way Coach K develops talent is truly remarkable. Mason Plumlee and Ryan Kelly were hard to watch at times in the past, but Coach K has done a number with them. Same with PG Quin Cook. I know this is a little off-topic but I am wondering what the consensus is of Coach K? For those that hate Duke, do you hate Coach K too? Just curious.

I think Coach K is a hell of a coach. I think most of us agree he was a great person for the Olympics role. The thing I don't like about Coach K is his death stare, holier than thou look and antics at times. Granted, the guy has earned it and has built the reputation to allow him to be arrogant and bashful, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to dislike him for doing so. Otherwise, yeah, he's one hell of a coach.

Like the last poster said, K is a hell of a coach and there is no getting past that. What he has done at Duke and what he has done with our Olympic teams is nothing short of remarkable. I have nothing but the utmost respect for him in those terms.

What I do not like is what seems to be the "holier than thou" attitude that the other poster mentioned. At least 3 different times last night, the refs called a foul on Duke and they showed K on the sidelines with an expression that basically said "Really? You called a FOUL on us? We are Duke, remember?? You can't be serious?"

The other part of the "hate" from me isn't necessarily Duke's fault...but they are one of ESPN's "golden children". They force Duke down America's throat and have done so for years. Like Pete Gillen said, "Duke is Duke. They are on TV more than reruns of Leave it to Beavahhhhh".

To me, Duke basketball is part of the ESPN machine, kinda like the Yankees, Lakers, Brett Favre, and Tim Tebow...

Aside from the Duke shite, what coach doesn't do this? I mean really? You don't like duke so when K does it you take it that way, but EVERY COACH I have ever seen gets pissed about fouls that go against his team.

That is just because of how many people watch Duke. Duke is one of those teams that anyone that watches college B Ball is going to watch when they play because they either A - want to see them win or B - want to see them lose, but everyone wants to watch them for one reason or the other.

Those who hate Duke are obviously going to hate K. They will find lame excuses to (his scowl! they're on tv too much even though i watch every time!). Seems like those indifferent towards Duke really like K. Olympics helped him there.

he's probably the only coach in all of basketball to do this.
