re: Pels talk pre-game Bar meet up? - swagsurfin7
Pluckers, usually
Which one? My buddy is one of the managers at the one on campus so I go watch games up there a lot when he works. Working tonight so I'm catching it on dvr. But I usually go. ...

Finally watched it last weekend. Stopped it multiple times just to regroup. When it was over, I just sat in my room in silence for a good while. It hit me pretty hard....

Yep  just looked at their roster. A lot of guys from their 2015 team still there. But out of the B1G, I like Maryland. Melo Trimble is fun to watch. ...

re: Would it be more impressive for someone to become a superstar in the NBA, NFL or - swagsurfin7
I don't know about a superstar, but simply making a roster in the NBA has to be the hardest of the 3.
This. The team roster size is very small so it would be the hardest. But there are so many guys that hang around the minors that just never catch a break. All it takes is one a...

re: NCAAB Thread | 2/22 - swagsurfin7
The only conference I'm not sure about is the B1G. I literally haven't watched a single B1G game except Duke-MSU, and MSU is down unfortunately. I usually have Izzo going deep like everyone else does  Purdue and Wiscy are the two best teams, but I don't really know how good they are. ...
BayouBengals03
Agree with you about Duke. This team was super frustrating to watch two months ago. Health was an obvious reason, but they just looked like they lacked leadership. I like Amile, but he seems more like a lead by example guy. No one wanted to take control of this team ...
My Final Four is Duke

doubtful. They've finally clicked on offense but I'm not sold at all on their defense
I really do think Duke is finally putting it all together. Tonight's game was weird. They should have ran away with that game in the first half, but kept tu...
I don't think the quality of play is as good as it was in years past, but the excitement coming down the stretch of the season is still awesome
The one and done rule has really hurt it I'll agree, but I will say that there are way more really good freshman this year around the coun...

re: NCAAB Thread | 2/22 - swagsurfin7
I just think the gap between the ACC and every other conference is enormous. Even over the Pac 12, who has three good teams at the top.
I agree. Out of the ACC, Pac 12, and Big 12, I feel that the Big 12 is by far the weakest. A lot of mediocre teams. It's a shame that KU wins t...

Man what a night of basketball. I started studying after the Duke game ended. :banghead: Big test tomorrow. The good news is, I have nothing scheduled as far as exams/papers go during the opening week of the NCAAT. So naturally I also took off of work from Thursday-Sunday, just as the good lord int...

I agree. He's put them on his back the last few weeks. There aren't many guys in CBB that can guard him one on one. Gonna be fun to watch all of those top picks down the stretch. ...

re: NCAAB Thread | 2/22 - swagsurfin7
Having watched Duke all year, it took Jayson Tatum a little bit to get comfortable in the college game. He's been phenomenal the past few weeks. He's gonna be a star at the next level. This game has shown his full arsenal... Aaaand they just lost at the buzzer lol what a game though. Last posse...

re: who is the greatest saints player of all time? - swagsurfin7
This thread is awful... But on a more serious note, me and a few friends had a discussion last night about who would be on the Saints Mt. Rushmore... we didn't put coaches so strictly players. Some very interesting choices for sure.... Brees Roaf Rickey Jackson Deuce But you could argue tha...
