IF Florida beats Florida State
Georgia beats Alabama in the SEC ship game
Then it could be Florida vs Georgia NCG
But then would they put LSU vs Alabama in the sugar bowl?

You can't have 3 teams in the BCS and you are trying to squeeze in 4

only if LSU Alabama are 3 and 4 behind UGA and UF at 1 and 2. even then LSU and Alabama might end up in different BCS bowls!

No more than two teams from a conference may be selected, regardless of whether they are automatic qualifiers or at-large selections, unless two non-champions from the same conference are ranked No. 1 and No. 2 in the final BCS Standings.

This is from the bcs website. I think if you have a top 4 ranking you earned it and it shouldn't matter.

Hypothetically...

1-4 are all from the same conference.
Neither #1 or #2 are conference champs.
#3 gets auto bid due to Conference champ.
#4 gets auto bid due to top 4 ranking.

Would that work? Someone feel free to correct my understanding of the BCS if I am wrong

eta: it seems that auto-bids are overruled by limits on teams from conferences.
