And should have at least played in 3 or 4 more Championship games.
2005, 2006, 2007(should have been a dynasty)
2010,2011, possibly 2012.

I know it's time to move forward, but taking a quick look back on those other 2 loss seasons, we had chances to win in 7 of those 8 games in the 4 seasons we didn't make it:2005,2006,2010,2012.

Georgia was the only game in 2005 where we had no chance, and it was the SEC Champ game, so that loss would have have kept us out the title game.

2005 wouldn't have been there no matter what.

USC and Texas were ahead of us no matter what.

There are a dozen teams out there that claim the same thing. Let it go. LSU doesnt have the right to a dynasty more than so many others.

Think of all the Should haves for USC, Oregon, OSU, Texas, etc, etc.

LSU isnt any worse than them

What a moron.

There are about 10 other teams with equal talent and unfortunately at least 3 of them play in the SEC...

You cannot win them all.

Yeah I agree. Perrilloux really fricked us over. Have all the talent you want, without a QB, life is hard.

2006 was perhaps the most talented team he has ever had.
Raped at auburn was not on him.

Zero chance for 2005, and that was not an elite team. That was a very weak SEC West which got LSU to 10-1.

2006 got a few bad breaks. Beat Auburn and we get a rematch against UF for the SECCG and NC.

2010? Really? You think that was a championship team?

2012 we were very close, again, but the ball doesn't bounce everyone else's way like it has Bama's the last two years.

By your logic, Chip Kelly should be fired because he should have been in 4 straight NCs because of his conference and talent level. Also, so should Meyer (he retired, good thing for UF, right?), Stoops, and many other coaches.

This. These are the 2 that got away.....That's not to say we didn't play sloppy in other years, but they weren't potential championship years.

This fan base is Miserable.

We play in the SEC. We will not win every game.

We had a new QB. We had a starting RB knocked out. Our Defensive backfield played a lot of young guys. We had a makeshift O-line.

Please don't say Mccaron won it all in his first year. Mccarron was meh most of last year and lost the only tough game on their schedule at home. They should not have even been there.

So your saying we should win every game because we have the best players? Are you fricking mad? We are not the most talented team. Not this year. Plenty of teams equally as talented. Hell 4 of them are playing rt now.

Saban cost us a ship in 04. Cost bama in 08 and in 10.

Alabama is about to play for their 3rd national title in 4 years.

LSU is about to play for our 3rd non-BCS bowl win in 4 years.

It doesn't exactly appear like the two programs are on the same level.
