Although I watched prior games, the excitement over the '82 win vs. Bama really got my attention. It made me follow LSU, and college football in general, very closely from then on.

I remember 1979 as the year I realized how special LSU football is, I was 11 yrs old and my grandfather had a cow bell that he rang everytime LSU scored. The first game I went to was 1982 vs Kentucky been hooked since.

I went to a new school in 8th grade and everyone there grew up the children of LSU alumni. I started following them then so I'd I have something to talk about. That was the 2003 season, fell in love and have been a due hard ever since.

Was born into it, but the first memory I have of it is going to the baseball regionals with my dad in 2000. One of the best memories I have and I was hooked on the tigahs after that.

I was born and raised in SW La and that's about the time frame I started following LSU football. I remember listening to games on the radio on Saturday night with John Ferguson & Walter Hill. I can't remember the first game I saw on TV. Might have been the Sugar Bowl in '59.

Started going to games in 1957 (same seats since 1952 to this day) --- but as a little girl, I enjoyed band & cheerleaders & Mascot Mike. I remember coming home to NOLA after the game & stopping at a donut shoppe in Laplace area. That was a treat. But it seemed like it took forever to get home. I started really getting into it in the early 1970's. Went thru ups & downs. Found an old sheet of tickets (misplaced by family member -- but got replacements) from 1983 --- $18 per seat.... Wish I paid that today LOL.....

1998 and 1999. I remember being 11 in '99 and suffering through that miserable season. Luckily things got better not long after lol

My family listened to LSU games on WWL am radio beginning in the mid-60's when I was a kid. Billy Cannon's fullback Red Brodnax lived 6 houses up from us in Bastrop. His mother shopped in my dad's store. In '67,'68,'69 I got my drivers license at 15 and we began going to the Double Header games in Jackson Ms. between LSU,Ole Miss or Bama and Ms.State. It rotated every year as to who played who. I was dedicated in '67, until now. Use TD to keep up with LSU.
