Is there an actual great Chinese restaurant outside of NYC and SanFran?

Honestly, I can't go back to bullshite buffet Chinese food and not have it taste like shite to me. I've found some OK Thai and Japanese places back in the US, but Chinese, a long shot on finding good Chinese food. Anyone know of any great Chinese restaurants outside of those two cities that serve outstanding Chinese food?

If it has General Tsao's or Orange Chicken on the menu, I'm calling bullshite, especially if almost all the dishes are fried as hell.

Jung's Golden Dragon on Magazine in New Orleans. Ask for the Yellow Menu when you sit down.
Also, that Peter Chang guy just opened some new spots in Richmond. He is a much pursued Szechuan chef.

Little China Town in Kenner
Go there on a Sunday night and you'll see the place packed with Chinese people

Have been to Little Chinatown numerous times. I like it, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's great. They do have some legit items though; my favorite is the intestine in XO sauce. Their salt & pepper chicken wings are excellent.

Wasn't Trey Yuen in Mandeville, ranked as the fourth best Chinese restaurant in America a few years back? It was behind two places from NY and a place from L.A.

What's on the yellow menu? I frequent here a good bit, but usually get take out.

How is that possible? It's mostly the same shite you see in every other Chinese restaurant. (not saying it's bad, just nothing to really set it apart)

I posted the link a few posts up.
As for Trey Yuen, back in the 80s it was top-notch... nowadays it's just another run-of-the-mill Chinese joint.

My ex was Taiwanese and her mom was an award winning chef and owned restaurants in Taiwan and in SoCal. We would go eat legit food in Bellaire Chinatown quite often once they moved there.
