Cut a 34 point deficit to a 15 point loss.

I know OKC took out their starters, but at least we didn't pack it up and quit.

Byron Scott would've let that team lose by 70.

Anderson played well. Thats about it.

There's gotta be a FA PG out there that can come here as a backup and actually hit an open man.

I'd much rather watch the Austin Rivers-to-point guard experiment go up in flames than keep watching Roberts totally ignore wide open men.

Pargo's never seen a shot he didnt like either. We need someone who can actually pass.

Im not talking Pete Maravich type stuff. A simple pick and roll would be nice.

This still should not give people any sense that this is a playoff team.

I don't think anyone honestly believes that the hornets are a playoff team without a productive gordon.

Last night was my first game in 2 years, and my first opportunity to see the new Hornets. They aren't a playoff team w a healthy and productive Gordon. I see the potential for the future, but this year no way.

As someone who saw Gordon play live last year, I can tell you this isn't 100% accurate. Gordon is that type of player that could lead this team to the playoffs this year if he were healthy. Not saying he would, but he gives them a legit shot at making it.

Disagree.

We've had some defensive issues the past 2 games, but our offense is sorely lacking. Gordon gives us that.

Not only does he get buckets, he opens the floor up for others. He makes this team "better" because other guys will be getting more open looks.

Like I said earlier, we're sitting with the 2nd best record in the league with him on the floor in these games.

If you watched the way James Harden opened the floor when we played the hornets, that's exactly what Gordon will do. He has talent around him and we could add another piece next year. This team will good in 2 years if everyone is healthy. :Gordon:

Agreed.

I'm not saying we even make it to the second round with gordon, but I'd be confident in a playoff berth.

Still lacking a piece or two to be true contenders. Future is bright.

Even with a healthy Gordon, the Hornets are the worst team in their division this year. If y'all believe they can be 5th in the division and still get the 48+ wins to reach the playoffs, more power to you.

The future does look good. Davis is 20, Gordon 23, Anderson 24. All are locked up. They have some good pieces around them now, but they need time to season and they need some more talent/shooting in the backcourt and on the wing.

I think we're better than the Mavs and Houston with a healthy gordon.

Houston is allll harden.

Right. Compared to the hornets:

PG - Hou
SG - hou
SF - Hou
PF - noh
C - Hou

Hornets have better backup bigs. Hou has delfino and Morris.
