Yay or nay? I bought a bottle of that pre-mixed crap that I'm sipping on now. Will conjure up some homemade nog here in a few weeks.

The bestFrench toast to be made is with it, rum, black walnut and vanilla extracts, and cinnamon and nutmeg. About a shot per two cups of nog on the rum.

Southern Comfort brand n/a. I could drink a gallon of this every day, but I refrain.

I have had some good homemade with bourbon added, but I have never made it.

Yay.

And while we're bringing up contentious subjects, is there a general consensus on the subject of fruitcake? Or am I still the only person in the world who loves it?

You can use it for a door stop or as a wieght to press down on pate as it cools to get the excess fat out of it, and get it to set properly.
