I saw the article on rivals, and it was premium, So I couldn't view it, but he said the visit went badly. I was just curious on who it was.

He just wanted to experience the atmosphere. He didn't plan on decommitting from Bama.

Bo Scarbough, per bleacher report. A 2015 bama commit who lives in tuscaloosa. Just tring to stir up shite. He was never coming here. He was lucky to get tickets, let alone be treated like a prima donna when we had so many other prospects and commits that coaches needed to talk with. Good player, but he was never coming here anyway.

Exactly. I'm surprised he was even invited to the game.

need to put this in proper context; bleacher report report is owned & operating by a Bama alumni. This is more of bleacher report trying to spew negativity at LSU recruits because so many had high praise while in attendance Saturday night.

In addition, LSU side of these stories never get told.

The article is actually funny it's trying so hard.

quote:

"I signed up for tickets online, and they sent me an email telling me I had been approved for three tickets," Scarbrough asserted. "But when I got there, they didn't have a ticket for me. They said my name wasn't on the list. They told me to come back five minutes before the game."

According to Scarbrough, when he returned later on he was given the tickets.

"I got in right before kickoff, so I didn't get to talk to anyone," he said. "After the game, I just waited and nobody came so I just left. I wanted to meet [the LSU coaches] and talk to them at least. I was kind of disappointed."

Scarbrough said it was unlikely he would visit LSU again.

quote:

It's important to note that LSU hasn't made an offer yet and they aren't even on his interest list, according to 247Sports. He also did say that he was very much so committed to Alabama, according to Niebuhr's report.

All that said, this is not the way you want to treat an elite recruit, let alone any recruit that is coming to visit your school. Not only does it show a complete lack of focus and a disregard to detail by the Tigers' recruiting staff, but how is this going to look to other interested recruits?

quote:

The fact that nobody on the coaching staff came to talk to Scarbrough is just irresponsible though.

quote:

This will only serve to hurt the Tigers. It's definitely something Les Miles and his staff can bounce back from, but it's certainly not a good look.

He never confirmed that he was coming. Tons of kids request tickets and then never visit. None of the recruiting sites knew the kids was going to show up and then all of a sudden there he was. It wasn't a big of a deal as he is making it out to be. I think he got his feelings hurt when the he wasn't shown the red carpet treatment by the coaches after showing up late.

He is not a priority in the 2014 class as LSU is all in for Fournette and becsides like others have said he was never coming to LSU. All it was is that he wanted free tickts to see Bama play. Nothing more nothing less.

Take the tinfoil off your head, BR is actually owned by Turner Media.

So one kid out of the 25 who is going to Bama is bitching about how LSU treated him?

Great move by LSU coaches. I'm sure the midget told him to do some work on our (interested/committed) recruits. He didn't even get the chance.

Also, great quotes for the recruitment of LF. LSU only wants LF. Saban thinks he can have both by telling each what they want to hear. His bs is catching up with him. To everyone who thinks that Saban is a coaching genius...give him Boise/TCU talent and see what he could do.

His stint in Miami should speak volumes about his real coaching ability. He came back to college because he knows that he must have better talent to win. College fb provides that option so he spends more time than any other 2 coaches (combined) on recruiting.

I would be very surprised if BS didn't talk to Saban about his trip prior to coming down to LSU. The result was a big FU from Les.

Les is getting wise to Saban's ever improving tactics. I will give Saban a for effort. Again...he knows that he can't be successful with equal talent.

So a solid 2014 Bama commit comes on one of our biggest recruiting nights when we are playing against Bama and is mad because LSU focused on recruits they wanted and were interested in LSU? Why is this an issue? Last thing we needed was a Bama commit in the middle of the recruits who haven't made up their minds trying to convince them to go elsewhere.

Doesn't bother me too much and seems like a fishing story.

Of course I never met this young man and cannot confirm or deny his statement, but it would surprise me if this indeed happened. LM and his staff have a history of treating recruits and parents with respect.

I believe this is untrue and just a young man talking like some young people do today.

This should make Fournette feel pretty good. We're going all out for him and hopefully he recognizes that.

Honestly. I would have ignored the virgin Mary after that game if she showed up on my doorstep. Is an lsu coach supposed to care about his biggest rivals commitment after getting kicked in the balls by said rival?

There's no way the guy that wrote that wasn't laughing hysterically as he typed.

I guess we'll just have to settle for a top five recruiting class.
