We beat Bama by a score of 20-19 then go on to the SEC championship game and lose to Florida once again by a score of 27-9. That would mean we lose to the same team twice and that one team ruins our championship hopes twice. Doesn't this scenario sound very similar to last year except that we beat Bama once. Still though Bama basically ruined our chances twice last season. How would you feel if we were basically #2 once again?

In your scenario, Florida would have at least won the SEC. Bama didn't last year, they didn't even win their half of the conference.

I wouldn't like it but I could take it.

FWIW We'd beat Florida.

I think they would beat UF if they were to play again. The offense was on a different level of bad that day.

I believe we would beat Florida in this scenario too, but just say my scenario happens because of horrible coaching and a bad offense in the SEC championship. How would that make you feel?

If that we're the case, I'd feel deserving of a spot in the Sugar Bowl and be done with it.

If they lost in the same fashion as the first loss I would be incredibly disappointed.

Don't ask silly questions.... What are you trolling for?

If we lost to UF again because they totally shut down our offense I'd want Miles' head on a platter???? That's STUPID talk.

If we make it to the SEC Championship game again....that's 4 times in 8 years under Miles, I brelieve. Win or lose that's a remarkable feat in the SECW Division. I would be dissappointed if we lost, but VERY proud of our team AND coaches!

Hell as long as we are playing what if's. what if we beat Bama and we beat Gators and Bama makes BCSNC game ahead of a undefeated K state or Ducks team. Or Gators beat us in SEC Game and Bama makes NC game to play Gators. It's too damn much.

What is it with all the what if and hypothetical threads here lately. I mean they are gonna play the games anyway so just wait and see what happens instead of coming up with these if this happens and this team beats this one crap.

No.

This caveat pretty much kills any comparison.

How?

It would make me feel just super. I love losing.

Seriously, I don't understand the question. Would you rather not lose the NC because more than one team beat you? How would that make me feel... losing? huh????

In your scenario, I wouldn't care. UF would have beaten us twice, won their division and their conference.

2011 Bama doesn't compare to that. Bama was essentially rewarded for losing their biggest game of the season at home to us.

SEC Championship game is better than no going to the SEC Championship.

Here is an even worse scenario. UGA beats UF, LSU beats Bama, and LSU beats UGA in the SECCG. However, UF finishes the season with only one loss and stays ahead of LSU in the BCS ranking based on voters keeping them in front due to the head-to-head win. UF goes to the BCSCG to play an undefeated Oregon, and LSU is left out as a one loss SEC Champ to a team that beat them but didn't even play in the SECCG.

I would trade my first born to beat Bama on Nov. 3. I don't care if we would lose to Florida in Atlanta, as long as the gumps don't get to Miami.

Or how would you feel if LSU beats Bama, loses to UF in seccg, and the Sugar bowl takes a 1 loss Bama over a 2 loss LSU.

Umm, it doesn't compare to last year at all, and if we lose twice, we won't be #2

i know it comes across as sour grapes, but I just don't think they are that good. They remind me of USF when they were #2 in the country a few years ago.
