I saw the LSU-Oklahoma game in 2003, but it would probably be a World Series game in Yankee stadium where Aaron Boone tied the game in the bottom of the 9th with a HR against the DBacks, and Jeter hit a walk off in the 10th. Walk off HR in game 5 of the WS. Hard to top that for me.

First win in team history by Thunder vs T'Wolves back in '08.

First series clinching win in a playoff series in team history by Thunder vs Nuggets in 2010.

First Conference Finals clinching win in team history vs Spurs in 2011.

First Finals win in team history vs Heat in 2011.

That's all I got I think.

Saints winning NFC title game.

LSU winning SEC title in 2001 (better than both NC games to me)

Both BCS title wins.

I went to a Bulls game in the 90s. Jordan scored 45 (not historical) but in garbage time Rodman hit a 3 (historical)

Lyle Mouton's home run that landed in Scotlandville.

ETA: I also witnessed LSU's epic second half collapse against Kentucky in basketball in the mid 90s. That was a good time.

If I had to pick one, it would be the first OT game in Tiger Stadium, Tenn, 2000.

That was one of the biggest games I've seen in person

Because it was a program defining win IMO

The barn burner
I didn't think of that. I was there.

I was at Vandy in 97 when Cecil made his last run for LSU.

I was at the FSU game where fans pelted the field with oranges.

I went to the first rugby game ever at Croke Park in Dublin between Ireland-France...

Croke Park Wiki

In January 2006, it was announced that the GAA had reached agreement with the FAI and IRFU to stage two Six Nations games and four soccer internationals at Croke Park in 2007 and in February 2007, use of the pitch by the FAI and the IRFU in 2008 was also agreed.[11] These agreements were within the temporary relaxation terms, as Lansdowne Road was still under redevelopment until 2010. Although the GAA had said that hosted use of Croke Park would not extend beyond 2008, irrespective of the redevelopment progress,[11] fixtures[12] for the 2009 Six Nations rugby tournament saw the Irish rugby team using Croke park for a third season. 11 February 2007 saw the first Rugby Union international to be played there. Ireland were leading France in a Six Nations clash, but lost 17–20 after conceding a last minute (converted) try. Raphael Ibanez scored the first try in that match; Ronan O'Gara scored Ireland's first ever try in Croke Park.

2000 - MNC game between VT-FSU
1998 - Stanley Cup Finals - Washington sucked

Nolan Ryan vs. Roger Clemens is probably the best I got. Old Arlington stadium in 1989.

Arguably the two best pitchers the state has ever produced, and both were at the top of their game that day.

Here is the game story:

I was at that Sugar Bowl that seems to have ended Shane Falco's career. He just hasn't been the same since.

ETA: Seriously,

-2003 Aaron Boone game, Game 6 world series when Beckett through the clinching shut out.
- Roger Clemens 300th win.
- 2011 BCSNC game.

I think there were a few more that I'm forgetting.

Alabama v Tennessee, 2009 when Cody blocked the field goal. The stadium was absolutely ridiculous.
