Home Depot has another Kamado for $700 Kind of leaning toward the Kamado but IDK, maybe I should go with the Egg.

Warranty and accessory availability are key. The ceramic on the cheaper ones is about half the thickness as one of the top brands too.. The only two models I can find in Lafayette are the BGE and Kamado. The two units look very similar. Stine's has a red Kamado for $800 and Mike Baker has the BGE for $1000. I'll probably go with the BGE so I can buy local and hopefully I will get a better product/support. And I have an aversion to red if you know what I mean.
