re: Most unique king cake I can get in Lafayette - tigeryat on 1/14/24 at 1:23 pm Keller’s has a traditional one. Pouparts has a French version. Most unique would be Poupart’s. Both are very good. re: Tacky synthetic stock on a 3 year old Browning X
Bolt. - tigeryat on 1/4/24 at 4:15 pm I haven’t had any trouble with pins on bolt action rifles. But I have had issues with pins on ARs. My point was I just didn’t want to F**k with and I’m not concerned about a factory gunsmith messing something up.... Posted on Outdoor Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

re: Tacky synthetic stock on a 3 year old Browning X
Bolt. - tigeryat on 1/3/24 at 7:07 pm I don’t have a problem sending back the entire rifle. I’m an amateur gunsmith, and I’ve disassembled several firearms. I’ve had too many screw holes or pins not line up perfectly. I would rather have a factory gunsmith handle it, especially if it’s free. I’ll slap my scope back on, sight it in,... re: Rib Roast / Prime Rib in Lafayette area - tigeryat on 12/30/23 at 5:55 pm Call Rouses and Champagne’s. Both stock them but they may be out. I couldn’t find one for Christmas and ended up with a nice tenderloin from Rouses. They may have choice. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.... re: Tacky synthetic stock on a 3 year old Browning X
Bolt. - tigeryat on 12/28/23 at 6:38 pm I got my return authorization today and I am shipping it back, rifle and mag only. The rifle is about 3 years old and has never been close to bug spray. Mine is very tacky. Not a subtle thing. They said it was a tactical grip coating, Duratouch, on the composite stock. They also said the time f... Tacky synthetic stock on a 3 year old Browning X
Bolt. - tigeryat on 12/27/23 at 7:48 am I think the finish is breaking down. Anyone have this issue? I think I will send it back to Browning after hunting season.... Posted on Outdoor Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (12) |

re: Mid-Barataria Diversion - tigeryat on 5/10/21 at 3:58 pm I think GI is going to get more fresh water depending on the river level. Areas east of Grand Isle like Four Bayous Pass, Bay Long, and Lake Washington are going to have lower salinity which means more boat rides west to find speckled trout.
I'm thinking the Empire and Port Sulfur areas may have... Posted on Outdoor Board Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
