I have known friends to "save" their good fishing tackle and use the old stuff for SW fishing, yaking, camping, etc. I always get a chuckle out of them with the old Zebcos. You bought the nice stuff to use it, don't save it. You could lose or break a rig at any time....

The white Stradic is a solid reel. I had to retire one a few weeks ago and replaced it with the CI4. The CI4 feels the same as the old Stradic to me. The 2500 with 10 lb Flouro/20 lb leader is my setup for specs and reds....
