There you go folks. What you've seen is what you're going to see the rest of the year. We just have to execute and stop turning the ball over. Get it out of your systems now rantards.

He said there are parts of the playbook we haven't touched but he's not going to call those plays as long as we're turning the ball over and shitting the bed in pass protection

This IS the playbook

It's a matter of execution rather than the play calls

Except for running a RB into a ten man front and no HB screen pass

Exactly. And it's actually worked pretty good. If you take away the turnovers every game would've been a blowout.

agreed, otherwise it could be a disaster. if we cant properly execute the basic plays, there's no way we can execute the more complicated plays that take more time to develop and require more precision and such....

back to the basics until we get this shite figured out.

Did you not hear him follow up and say that the playbook hasn't been fully utilized and that they're saving some for later in the year?

Actually, that's not what he said.

He said just the opposite FWIW....

"I agree with Zach and OBJ that we haven't tapped a lot of the playbook, but we weren't going to use that part of the playbook in that part of the season regardless."

Just out of curiosity, how do you know that's the ENTIRE playbook?

I'm not insinuating there's a secret playbook.

I'm just asking how do YOU know that there aren't plays that haven't been run?

I am not sure if you have paid much attention to his previous press conferences & radio shows. He is notorious for playing his cards close to his vest and you really can't rely on much he says.

Why would he be sitting on special plays a few weeks ago @ Auburn? This offense is what's it's going to be. People just need to deal with it now.

Fact is we are good enough running the plays we've seen thus far. When we've executed them well, no one has been able to stop us.

Problem is we keep shooting ourselves in the foot: playing without discipline, too many penalties and turnovers, sacks, etc.

As long as we do that, it doesn't matter if we have the New Orleans Saints playbook, we will lose some games.

We are playing down to our competition and that is never a good sign.

Eddie George this morning on Sirius 91 mentioined that LSU is playing sort of lifeless and without energy. That is sure what it looks like thus far.
