For the 1st half, at least.

That's about right...LSU "fans" get up for about one game a year now.

This is sad, but true. These days, our fanbase is predominantly a bunch of distended, limp pussies.

nah, I'm used to it by now, but LSU "fans" have no business claiming to be great.

but hey, at least you beat the traffic, right!
or maybe you made it back to the tailgate for another drink! or....or....or.....ah fuhget it, it's your right as a shitty fan to do whatever the hell you like. Enjoy!

Our fanbase may suck, but at least we're lucky enough to be graced by all the superfan heroes posting here! Keep up the good fight, bro!

You don't have a fricking clue as to what I do or don't do, but the superfan heroes will always assume they are better than everyone else regardless.

Congrats on being such a fricking hero. Your boy must be proud of all the tsk tsking you no doubt did Saturday night, in between yelling like a madman till the fourth quarter.

If you only go to bad games, sure. But for those huge matchups that happen once or twice a year.... it can't be beat.

Outside of the loud and raucous reputation of TS, I find the diversity of the cheers and songs to be special as well.
There's no way that you can tell me that a one trick pony after every single play is exciting or enjoyable. Yeah, I'm talking about you Rocky Top, Roll Tide, etc.

I'm not the poster with the kid, dumb dumb. I understand though, it's hard for you to stay focused for more than say....two quarters or so???

People like me bring our kids to the UNT's and Towson's on the schedule. They are both less than 9 years old. We are lucky if they choose to stay beyond half time.

But you can take your foregone conclusions about my worth as a fan and go frick yourself.

Is "pound-for-pound" really a reference you would use for a stadium???

"brick-for-brick"
"seat-for-seat"

ah...who cares

I'm guessing there are about 50-60K with the same issue?

That's your choice to do that. Apparently your kids cant make it through an entire football game. Some can. Not sure what the difference is...you know, the old nature vs nuture argument and such.

Auburn is louder than BAMA and auburn is not even honorable mention

This is what is known as an honorable mention:

"I have to couch it by saying that I haven't been to Texas A&M, Clemson, South Carolina or Auburn for a game and I've heard those places would be in the running if I had witnessed it...This week's Top 10: Loudest college stadiums I've ever been in."

4. Bryant-Denny, Alabama: I've seen some lists which had a few other SEC and Big Ten schools above the Tide's home site. I've been to Bryant-Denny a few times in the past two years. I don't think I've been anywhere louder during a day game than this place was the day undefeated Cam Newton and arch-rival Auburn came to town. Last year's visit from LSU also was pretty hard to top.

So Bama lost the 2 loudest games they have hosted in Bryant-Denny?

I've got news for you, I have ZERO interest in watching LSU play Towson and so will not be attending that game. I have no interest in watching LSU play Idaho and so will not be attending that game. I had no interest in seeing North Texas and so I did not attend that game either.

If more people thought along these lines, you know that the service/product may not be exactly worth the cost, maybe we would be seeing more interesting matchups in Tiger Stadium.

We get 8 games at home this season, 3 of them against bullshite OOC opponents, 2 of them against bullshite SEC opponents, so that leaves 3 interesting games in Tiger Stadium this year in terms of excitement.

And don't get me wrong, I'd go to watch Tulane, UL, Tech or even ULM. But yes, you can count me as a fan who is interested in who we are playing.

Not my philosophy, but at least you own it.

Personally, I enjoy the lesser opponents. Good opportunity to see younger players take the field.

Do you know what pound for pound means?

Considering Autzen's size, they blow you out of the water...pound for pound.

They are decibel even with the big boy noise in a small environment.
