Why the heck do you order room service during middle of a viral outbreak?

Other than that, I enjoyed the film a lot.

You sure as heck don't want to go out to eat. Seems the least risky choice.

I liked it a lot. I think people expected 28 days later or something. Or where everyone died

I Thought it was a pretty darn accurate representation of how an epidemic would go down

I liked it a lot. Particularly how it was wrapped up in that final shot/scene.

Could be wrong, but it wouldnt be surprising if Soderbergh is a vegetarian or whatever other non meat eaters there are. What he was implying in the last scene was pretty clear.

I thought it was a little too cold, though. It seemed too dispassionate. I never really felt the sense of desperation that you would expect if people were really dying off by the millions due to human contact, or the craziness that would actually happen if there was really a drawing to hand out the cure.

I liked it. Seemed like a fairly accurate representation of what may go down if that were to occur with the government putting a cap on the information being more detrimental than anything. Didn't understand the plot involving Marion Cotillard other than the joy of getting to see her great face, which was okay by me but overall her character was pretty useless.

I just saw this recently and loved it. I was never that excited to see it but am a big Soderbergh fan. I loved the opening )and for that matter, the closing). Really well done, I hope he doesn't retire like he has been talking about for the past few years.

Huh? It was just showing how and where the virus made its jump...I don't recall anything at all that could be construed as a "statement"...

My only complaint about the film is that I would expect a far more turbulent outbreak of violence and looting if something like that went down.

I HATED this movie.

So much talent, such a forgettable piece of shite.

Agreed. Accurate representation. Nothing I would ever watch again though. I really felt nothing for any of the characters
