played a lot of tennis through high school and college. took a few year hiatus but am starting up again.

before i stopped playing i had a lot of trouble with my racket. i kept popping strings. i ended up having to put some ultra thick durable string, and i've dislked the racket ever since.

i had played a Prince 03 Tour MP. I'm looking to get into a new racket. i recently demo'd the Head Speed MP, Babolate Pure Drive, and Wilson Steam. Did not like Steam at all. I liked both Head and Babolat rackets, however both are very different.
i've also played with a friend's Head Prestige MP and liked it.

what do you play with?
what are your thoughts on a racket for a intermediate player who likes a pro style racket?

Lets play sometime, bro.

I've got a Prince More Balance from 5+ years ago.

Babolat AeroPro Drive GT.

Bought a new one before the summer started, and this was recommended/highly reviewed on many sites.

Loving it.

Head Youtek Prestige Pro. The regular MP that Them plays with is 18x20, mine is 16x19. Any year's version of the Prestige series is pretty good.

They still manufacture the Prince original graphite, although it plays a bit different from the old days.

Prince Thunderstick with pro-blend strings. I used to pop strings alot as well, so I ended up buying the old stringing machine they had at Nevada Bob's (shows how old school I am) and started stringing my own.

This one is pretty sweet, but it could be a bit lighter IMHO.

Been having it for almost 2 years. Very good racquet. A lot of power.
