Foodie trip to NOLA

Where should we go? The SO requested Mr. B's (never heard of this place) and Emeril's. I was thinking Commanders Palace and Court of Two Sisters. Thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks!

Mr. Johns Steakhouse>delmonico and I like Court of Two Sisters because of the variety but most people on F&D prefer brunch elsewhere

I've had dinner at Court of Two Sisters and wasn't a fan. My Mom said the brunch is much better though.

yes, probably the best breakfast place in the Quarter
Stay away from Court of 2 Sisters...that place is pure garbage.
If you are just staying in the Quarter, I would check out Stella for dinner and Stanley for breakfast. If you want to Venture out maybe try Boucherie or Clancy's both are Uptown.
There are many many more places to recommend you you really having given much information as to what you're looking for, what you like or what your budget is.

Not looking for anything specific. The SO isn't a fan of seafood, but most places have other options besides seafood. No real budget. Not confined to a certain area. Need breakfast, lunch and dinner recommendations.

What kind of places do you like. What kind of food? What part of town?
Go uptown and eat at Clancy's or Brightsens.
Warehouse District, go to Rio Mar or La Boca.
Mr. John's would be great. Awesome steak place, but some good Italian.
I like Pelican Club and Murials for a good solid meal downtown.
Of course the best two restaurants in town are Restaurant August and Stella, but that may be a little too much in terms of being gourmet for you.

I'm a lover of all food so I'm not looking for anything in particular. The only thing I've ever eaten and not cared for was Indian, but it was at a little dumpy place in Colorado so that may have had something to do with it.
I'm sorry my choices weren't "gourmet" enough for you. I'm just going on what I've heard. The only "decent" places I can recall eating in New Orleans were Commanders Palace and Court of Two Sisters (which I've already said sucked). I'm trying to broaden my horizons man! Most of my culinary delights in NOLA have come from vendors off of Bourbon, lol.

Sorry, didn't mean for my most to sound like that.
You have some good tips from several people in this thread, so go with it and look up the websites of the restaurants and see what you like.
I do suggest getting out of the quarter for a meal or two.

You were right, Stella was too "gourmet" for me, lol. 
I think we have decided to do August for dinner Friday night though since they are open a little later. Stanley for Saturday breakfast and Muriel's for Sunday brunch. Still open for Saturday lunch and dinner.

Muriel's is solid for Sunday brunch. However, for a much more quintessential New Orleans brunch, I highly recommend Arnaud's. SO can find non seafood there and the food and choices there are much more expansive. It's very very festive. Ask to be in the main dining room or just make sure you're downstairs.
Definitely dump the Court of Two Sisters. I think you've already decided that.
Mr. B's is also solid. I second Brigtsen's. Ate there again in April. Really enjoyed it. If you like seafood, try the seafood platter there. It's not your standard fried platter. SO can find some good options.
