I have someone picking up some beers for me in Greensboro tomorrow. I was looking for some recommendations. I'm willing to try pretty much anything. Some of my favorite beers are Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and NOLA blonde and brown ale.

My favorite brewery in NC is probably Highland.
I'd probably just have them pick up stuff not available in Louisiana, like Bell's, Founder's, Dogfish Head, etc.

Old Meck brewery has a bunch too but I'm not a huge fan.

This is controversial, probably, but I'm not a huge fan of Duck Rabbit. I did like their Black IPA, though.
Foothills has some decent brews, Fullsteam is so-so, LoneRider has some good brews, Natty Greene's is really good (really like their brown ale), Pisgah Brewing isn't bad, Red Oak has one product that's solid, and Triangle Brewing isn't bad.

I ended up getting
Belle's Two-Heart Ale (never tried it but always hear good things)
The Great Divide Rumble Oak Aged IPA (again, always hear good things)
Duck-Rabbit Milk Stout
Anderson Valley Summer Solstice
Victory Summer Love Ale
She also picked up a Dogfish Head for herself that has peaches in it or something. Can't remember the name of it.

Add Foothills, Pisgah, and Founders to that list

Your opinion is your opinion, which has as much value as my opinion does. I will inquire about this though. Do you normally like dark English beers? (porters, stouts, brown ales, etc)
