My Father's Day CSB

Today I was able to get my dad, little bro, and one of my little sisters (she's 14, no pics) to go shooting with me today. We went to a place that I like to go just outside of Pearlington, MS. I call it the bullet pit.
I don't get to see my dad a lot, and I had only been shooting with him once so it was great to get to share that experience with him. It was also my kid sister's first to ever shoot a gun. She had a blast, and is also a pretty good shot for a beginner.
These are the kinds of memories that I missed out on when I was a kid. It feels really good to know that I can help to give my sister those memories.
On a side note, my dad brought out a Browning 22lr lever action that I never knew he had. It was a blast to shoot. I never had a second thought of getting a lever gun before, but I think I'm sold.
Also, these 2 guys showed up while we were there. They spent more time putting on their tactical vests and holster and shite than they did shooting their matching AKs. Their AKs seemed funny when they were slinging spent casings a good 25ft to where we were set up. My brother picked up one and saw that is was a .270. Both of their AKs were chambered in. 270. WTF. Is there some appeal to a .270 in an AK as opposed to the 7.62? These 2 guys struck me as the local mall security swat team type.
Happy Father's Day.

An AK in .270 sounds like a deer slayin machine

That it does, but these dudes didn't look to be the deer slaying type. They looked like they played to much Call of Duty.

Sounds like a good time. My Dad is anti-wasting ammo, and he considers shooting for fun to be wasting ammo.
I do have a lot of other outdoor memories with him though.
