I wish they'd come somewhere closer to South Louisiana. Missed them in Beaumont back in February when they came with Jason Boland. New CD sounds awesome though

They tour with my good friends The Dirty River Boys every so often but somehow I've never managed to catch them live. I'm really excited. That's my favorite thing about living in Austin :) I'm drinking a beer with Willy Braun right now. This city rocks.

not going to lie, I'm listening to the preview and this is good music. the older I get the more I like this kind of music. How was their first album?

What is the story with these guys?

Oklahoma red-dirt and got their start opening for Boland.

"Diamonds & Gasoline" is a fantastic album and it seems like this new one may be even better. I just love Evan's voice.

After tonight I'll be able to let y'all know how their live show is

Oh, and "Bossier City" is their debut album, but D&G is their breakout album. Both good. D&G is better. I'm going through a nasty breakup so I've had "7&7" on repeat for 3 weeks

Yes. I think they formed the band in Austin though.

of course they did. you HAVE to form the band in Austin or it just sucks.

Not sure, but one of the lines in his song Angola says "I was born in Bossier Parish in Northern Louisianne" Also say's "Got a tattoo that says Haughton, thats the place I love the best"

New CD is great though. Can listen from beginning to end without skipping.

This is the only band that resembles country that I can listen to right now. Bossier City, the first album, sucked, in my opinion. I liked the last one. I am previewing this one. First song is very meh. I wish they would get a better banjo player.

I disagree, strongly. Austin to Ashes is probably my favorite song of theirs. You can see that they have grown quite a bit between BC and D&G, but BC is a solid album

Just listened to the new cd twice through...one of the best Texas country CDs ive heard in a long time. Look forward to seeing them June 15th at the Firehouse Saloon!
