We don't buy any meat or fruit from Wal-Mart. The typical can goods are fine but their meat is horrific.

None. I rarely go to WM. But they are putting in a WM Neighborhood Grocery Store within walking distance of me. I'll probably go buy toilet paper and other essentials there.

I try my best not to buy any groceries from there.

But, meat is the only thing I absolutely refuse to buy from Wal-Mart.

The only time I go to Walmart is when I am in Louisiana and I want to stock up on hot sauce, community coffee, etc.

I try to avoid walmart. Nothing can put me in a bad mood quicker than a trip to walmart.

I have not been to one in over a year. My goes about once a month. We will not eat their meat. It tastes like something nasty!

I'll grab a box of Clif Mojo bars on the way to work about once a week from Walmart. That's about it.

We do our shopping almost exclusively at WalMart. Save meat, but that's because we have some really good local places around here to buy from. I don't see the point of shopping somewhere else, and pay higher prices, just because. Makes no sense. But, if it makes people feel better about themselves to happily pay more, then power to them. I like money, and I'm not gonna waste it just because I can afford to.

I might go there twice a year. I like the pizzas. They're easy to gussy up and I like the crust. I will buy whole milk mozzarella there on occasion. Usually, I only stop in when I happen to be passing one that isn't in a mall or shopping center. It's sort of an easy in and out for a Wally World.

I think they have some good breads, but I haven't made any special trips to buy it.

50%

I live in butte larose. Not really many options.

The other 50% goes to target, rouses, or albertsons. When i was in br it was mostly albertsons with some whole foods.

I will not buy meat or seafood from any of those places though. I usually hit up a Seafood or meat market.

Zero. Unless at my friend's hunting club in Clarksdale, MS. Even then we buy any meat at Wong's.

I go to Walmart for things like paper towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, canned goods. Meats and veggies and fruits are usually bought at Rouses or Win-Dixie. Seafood is usually bought at Quality Seafood in Biloxi or directly from the shrimpers on the docks in Biloxi.

None. I have an Albertson's a half block from me and Fresh Market is in the parking lot of my gym. If I need something specialty, I'll drive an extra 1/4 mile and shop at Calandro's. Occassionally I shop at Whole Foods. I also buy meat, poultry, eggs and dairy at Red Stick Farmers Market.

With gas at $4.00 a gallon, I don't mind paying .20 extra for paper towels and laundry detergent at Albertson's.

A bunch of pretentious frickers in this thread. While I prefer meat and produce from other grocery stores, time is limited and money is tight so every now and then I'll stop in and grab what I need.

Buy 98% of my meat from Rouses, but do purchase vegetables, canned goods, cereal etc from Wal-Mart.
