What are some good places to go to?

I feel like in the last four months I have gotten into a rut of going to the same places, with alternating Vietnamese restaurants weekly.

I've tried a lot in this city, but a lot left to try.

Just trying to pick up on other people's lunch ideas.

I work mainly uptown or Mid-City, but can be anywhere from Luling to the East for lunch.
Was about to go to Magasin again today, and instead went with Dat Dog, and realized I went from trying new places every week to eating at the same places.

I'm also looking to get away from heavier foods. Also nothing too fancy as I wear a polo for work.

Rodasta's Grocery in Old Metry. Good sandwiches and plate lunches. I miss that place. Used to hit it up every thursday when i did construction work for the summer back in college.

I eat there a lot out of convenience as I work a half block down, but it's a little pricey for what it is. Sandwiches need to be $2 cheaper or come with a better side than a little mixed greens.

I am curious what is your favorite out of these.
Philly's Cafe on Claiborne has some pretty good cheese steaks.

That looks like my same rotation, but I'm not a fan of Jazmine so I have Kim Ahn in my rotation instead.

Check out pho noi Viet across the street from juans on magazine. I rode by magasin last week one night and saw 15 people waiting outside so went down to pho noi Viet...no wait, it was basically empty It was really good, try out the fresh squeezed limeade.

Neyows in Mid City is good soul food. A new place just opened up on Carrolton across from Felini's called Toups that serves Cajun food, and the owners have (imo) a pretty good background. Crescent Pie & Sausage, all those tacquerias, there's a ton of shite right there on Carrolton/Canal.

Jazmine is the weakest link for sure, its just so convenient when I'm in that area and want some Bun.
I may try Kim Ahn, and I been wanting to try that one on Canal by Carroloton.

My favorite?

I can't pick one, as I get different things at each. The only thing I have gotten the same at most of them, was the Pork Vermicelli bowl (Bun Xo Bah) and Magasin has the best, but I would give Frosty's an edge just because I love Bubble Tea smoothies.
Nothing beat a cold Taro Coconut, or Jackfruit Strawberry smoothie. (Avocado and Honeydew are good too, and the local viet favorite)

we have similar taste, every place in my rotation is on your list

Magsin, Tru, Company, BooKoo, Milk, Dat Dog, Freret St Poboys, Theo's, Juan's, Squeal, Katie's, Liuizza's and Fat Hen.

Are my most frequented places.

Lately Fat Hen, Company, Magasin, and BoKoo have seen the most of me.

Lots of others I need to try on that list.

Cafe Minh was the place I was thinking of.

I'm trying to make a punchout list since I lost my old one.
