1. Matt Barkley - Agree, he's pretty damn good.
2. Geno Smith - Hahahahaha.
3. Aj McCarron - Hahahahaha.
4. Denard Robinson - HAHAHAHAHA
5. Aaron Murray - Should be at least 3rd.

Awful list from an overrated Qb.

1. Barkley
2. Geno Smith
3. Murray
4. Wilson
5. Chestsiah! (he had like 3 passes?) but really Denard.

ETA: I didn't scan the ranks of QB's just off the top of my head.

Instead of just laughing at someone's opinion. Why don't you list who you think should be the top 5 qb's coming into next year? We might could get a laugh out of it.

AJ isn't even the best Qb in the SEC west. And the 3rd best Qb in the SEC. Mine is:

1. Matt Barkley
2A. Tyler Wilson
2B. Aaron Murray
4. Tyler Bray
5. Landry Jones

AJ was good, but to put him in top 5 best Qb's in the nation is a little much. Landry was one of the top Qbs before his horrible ending. Still think he is pretty good.

Geno returns an entire offense around him that just rolled up 70 on Clemson, not sure why that's a laugher.

My list is the same except without Wilson and Murray tied. I think Wilson is better than Murray. I think it's kind of ridiculous to put a QB in the top 5 in the country because he had one good game against one very good defense during an otherwise above average season. I'm interested to see what he does this year though.

I'd put Wilson above him but not Bray.

Barkley
Wilson
Jones
Murray
McCarron

You'll get heat for this, but the fact is that if he can pass enough academic and drug tests to remain eligible through the 2012 season, there aren't 5 other quarterbacks I would rather have on my team.

Then neither do fans of USC, Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, Arkansas, WVU, etc.

Go ahead. All about competition they face as well. Big East still isn't as good as the SEC east. Bray's offensive line is not very good. If he keeps his head on straight or doesn't get injured, he will have a hell of a season with the WR's he has. And I laugh at Geno because of how much he throws. He is a good Qb, top 10 even, but he threw the ball over 100 times more then Wilson with less then 700 more yards and threw it over 150 more times then Aaron Murray. And again, he played in the Big East in a pass happy offense (Dana Holgorsen has a super pass heavy scheme). It will be interesting to watch Geno against Texas and OU.

So this makes him Top 5 worthy??

He threw short passes with a great gameplan....he was on the money......he didn't TEAR up anything.

So because he plays in a particular offense he sucks?

I'd argue that it's amazing that he's doing so well while everyone and their mom knows he's going to throw the ball on every down.

As an LSU fan, I say this is accurate. He will be the best QB in the SEC next season in my opinion. His decision making was very good and will improve. I'll take the heat for my opinion, but SOPH don't just wake up and complete 70% of their passes in the BCSNCG.
