No one mentioning the guy who has the best WR in the nation, one of the top OC's in the nation, and had as good or better starts than every other QB in this thread in just his first season as a starter? Shame on yal.

Had I made a list, he would've definitely been on it. He's about to light it up again this season.

And I'm not just picking on AJ McCarron, because DeNard Robinson doesn't deserve to be on that list, either. His running ability is the only thing that brings him close.

Obviously if you take away his running threat he's not good.. but turns out you can't do that. So he's at the very least top 10.

Geno threw it 65 times against LSU. He only had 2 td's and 2 interceptions and completed less then 60% of his passes

Did you see how Murray, with better talent around him, performed against LSU? Geno will have a huge year this year. Not just because he threw for more than 400 vs LSU. Because he is a damn good emerging QB.

Geno is in the discussion.....but it will not translate to the NFL

Yea I can't wait to see what Sammy Watkins does as an encore! Maybe my favorite player in the nation. He and the Black Mamba are scary good.

It was a much later game in the season, when LSU was arguably playing their best football. But there is no denying Aaron Murray had a bad game. Doesn't mean Geno is better though.

I'm just going to call him a tailback who throws the half-back pass more than most running backs because he is clearly not a QB except in name only.

So if I had to make a list for him to be on, it would be on a running back list at whatever rank.

Ouch! Watkins has already said he wants to be a genuine Heisman candidate this year, and Dabo know how badly they need some momentum coming off how badly last season was. They're gonna throw Watkins at yal all game long, gobba be tough buddy! Word is he's also convinced coaches to let him return punts this season... And people that Peterson on the Georgia Dome turf was fast, lookout folks!

Wilson, Bray, and Murray are all better. McCarron just has a better team around him.

I took his injuries into consideration. But what he has been able to do when he is healthy is pretty incredible. Plus, even Tyler Wilson would've been injured last year playing for Tennessee.

Does everybody realize Ware's list is based on what QB will help his team the most, as in the better college QB? He's not projecting guys to the NFL or saying who has the most talent. It's a preseason list, it's no better or worse than any other. McCarron is young, talented, had a great statistical year (basically the same QB rating as Wilson), plays for a great team that was young on offense and oh yeah, just won the national title. Maybe he deserves a little recognition for it.
