re: Magic fire Stan Van Gundy - HT713
Shaq needed Penny, Kobe, Dwayne. Howard needs a perimeter player of that caliber.
If Dallas paired him w/ Deron Williams he could be pretty impressive, but they'd likely both have to take pay cuts and I don't think they'll do that. shiiiiiiit, he'd be great w/ Rose in Chica...

re: Magic fire Stan Van Gundy - HT713
Am I the only one that just doesn't see what all the fuss is about w/ Dwight Howard? I'd love him on the Rockets, but he wouldn't make us a 'ship contender. He's been on a mediocre Orlando team 3 years in a row now. If he were really in the upper echelon, I think he'd carry that team a little mor...
If people like you would quit giving them money maybe they would get a job.
If people like you would talk to them and treat them like a person, maybe it would encourage them to clean up their act. either argument could be made, it just comes down to what kind of person you ...

I agree that it's a problem, but I thank God every day I make enough money to not have to worry about taxation OR how I choose to give. They'd have to double the tax rate to make me complain half as much as some you frickers do around here
Whatever makes you feel better about yourse...
The reality of it is that almost half of the country are bums, and I give enough of my money to them already in the form of taxation. In turn, the government provides welfare, housing assistance, food stamps. They get enough of my money, I don't need to give them any more to fuel their parasi...
my thesis was on bums.
I'd read that lol. Did you call them homeless or literally just "bums"? Was it published? Is it hosted online?
its just common knowledge.
not to me and I live a mile outside downtown Houston. I see bums every day. ...
what kind of miserable person gets off on treating others like that
the same kind of fig boy that gets off on baiting arguments on the internet, I assume. People who can't be taken seriously shouldn't be. If you let him rile you up, he already won....
That hit was in the 2005 playoffs, the Astros traded Lidge after the 2007 season.
and that entire 2 years stretch he struggled, after being a badass prior to it. I think it mentally just messed him up, and by the time we traded him he wasn't even serviceable. Then he tore it up for...

No, I understand, and I think the, "They'll just buy drugs with it" is a little bit of a myth. A- What drugs can you buy w/ 3 dollars? B- IF you're that concerned, buy them a bag of chips and a bottle of water. I've done it before and they were pretty gracious. ...

re: Sports moments/heartbreaks you can't get over - HT713
Yeah but Lidge was my favorite Astro at the time, and he was never the same after that. Plus, it was Pujols biggest (of many) moments against the astros, and it sort of kick-started us becoming Philly's minor-league team when we traded him after the next season ...

Damn I got a reply like 4 days later, and no I have not read anything but this page and first 5 responses  who fricking cares?
