How are your Citrus Trees Doing?

I have a lime tree in the backyard and it looks like a bumper crop this year.

Mine are relatively young but i should be getting some good fruit this year. My lime tree puts out some big fruit

Our key lime tree is in a pot and is usually pretty loaded. Lots of blooms and bees right now. Key lime pie - YUM.

i think around 10-12 feet but it grows very slow. they also have some pretty serious thorns and attract bees.

Mine looked like that too till most of the buds just fell off. Does yours drop a bunch of buds?

Mine looked like that, last year, and most of the buds fell off or a lot of them. It was the best year I've had since planting them, but still not as much as some folks I know get. Mine all have rough sort of potted skin, too. The only matching picture I found was one where it said the fruit had wind burn, but we didn't have a lot of wind. The fruit inside it fine. No problem there, but the lemons especially were large, but not very pretty on the outside.

That happened to the tree last year, never did figure out why.
I'm hoping this years mild winter and recent good rain helps. I'm also feeding the tree Nitrogen.

The pot is about 23" diam. We keep the tree top about 7 - 8' from the ground. We have other citrus trees in pots that do well. They are in our courtyard.

Plant anytime of the year on the Gulf coast.

I have 2 lemons. They've both long since budded and there are decaying lemons all over the ground now.

I think I got about 2 dozen, maybe, off this tree this past Fall. I can't tell if that's a satsuma, lemon or orange tree in the pic, but they were all full. I have about 10 or so trees. Some are pretty new, though. I lost two limes a year ago and yard guy brought more orange trees instead of the limes, which ticked me off.
This is what they looked like on the outside, though this one is worse than most of the others that just had a few spots on them here and there.

I planted a lime tree 2-3 years ago and have yet to get any fruit, have a bunch of flower buds on it currently, but nothing like the OP has. Hoping to one day actually get a lime off this sucker

My yard guy said I had to have two of everything. I know nothing about growing anything, but maybe someone else knows if that's a plus.

I'm still having problems with fruit flies in my containers. Or is OK to just let them fly around the compost?

For lemons mostly thats true. I believe most Orange trees are of the mastorbateious variety (self pollination) for the most part.
They generally wont produce fruit while they are still rooting as well. Generally 3rd year is when they will produce fruit.

I think the yard guy said limes needed two also.
