Correct. I'm a Steelers fan so I pay close attention to what the guys say on SNF. Clark usually says the full "Louisiana State University".

The majority of time he says LSU or Louisiana State.
He graduated a long time ago, but he still stays friendly with current players and coaches, even though he played 10 years ago and the environment has changed a lot since his time here

Clark is a much better NFL player than anyone thought he would be which suggests he is smart and a very hard worker.
He probably would be a good coach. I hope he achieves this goal, but I wouldn't be surprised if we get a black coach before him.

He's from Brusly so i doubt he said anything about new orleans.
He's from Bridge City in NOLa, one of the most squalid areas of town, even before Katrina.

Really wish he would drop the "black" thing....what's that got to do with it?? He has no idea what it would take to be the head coach at a major univerisity like LSU, and what all the responsibilities would be. I know that would be a long way off, but I don't see that happening. He would need to be a successful as a high school coach, college positions coach, and head coach at a smaller school before moving up to that kind of position.

Yep. Almost all the defensive backs refer to him as their big bro

That's cause the NFL hates the Steelers. See James Harrison.
Seriously, the whole team, including Polamalu who is widely regarded as one of the best safeties in the game, is penalized much more than average.
The Steelers just can't/won't play within the new rules framework the NFL is gravitating toward. Not saying I agree with all (or any) of the changes, but the rules are what they are. It's not "heady" to keep breaking them when everybody else seems to be figuring it out. It's stubborn and counterproductive.

You really think a former LSU player and current NFL player has no idea how the game of college coaching works and doesn't realize he needs to work his way up through the ranks?? Give the guy some credit, he never said he was going to start there but you got to have goals.

good for him. i would love to have an LSU alumni as HC. but i prefer a badass football team. i dont care what your school is if you win big, and i dont care if you suck, either.
its a bottom line business.

Ryan Clark won't be mentioning his high school anytime soon in his introduction. He has some animosity against Shaw.

That's my dream job...
I guess I'll have to take him out. Maybe I can get a job on his staff.

Hilarious!!!
A guy like Ryan will have the opportunity to work as a GA when he retires or join an NFL staff. As someone mentioned, he has turned himself into a a consistent performer on one of the most demanding defenses in the league. He gets to sit in meetings with one of the best defensive coaches in the history of the game. He is under the leadership of one of the best young coaches in the league.
If he's truly interested in coaching. . .he is in a great position to prep himself now.

Although the odds of this happening are highly unlikely, I pray this doesnt happen.
