LeCreole lunch special today

I was listening to Jimmy Ott today on my way into BR when he mentioned the ribeye lunch special today at LeCreole. I had not eaten lunch yet and I was almost to the Highland exit so I pulled in to try it out. Parking lot was so full I had to drive around for 10 min to find a spot to park. That sucked.
I went in and being alone I decided to sit at the bar cause the restaurant was packed. I was promptly waited on by a young man that was the bartender. He was friendly and asked what I would like. I ordered the lunch special - $9.99 ribeye (med rare) with potatoes with a dirty martini (which were $1) and some ice water.
Food got to me in about 10 min. Was only half finished with my martini, which was mixed excellent. The steak was an 8 oz ribeye that was perfectly cooked med rare as ordered. Very tender and tasty. No grissle, some fat but I eat that.
Potatoes were mashed and had a cheesy/garlic taste. Very good. No salad but I didn't mind as I had enough.
Total bill $11.98 for ribeye, potatoes, dirty martini (vodka) and ice water. Good deal IMO
My first trip there and I enjoyed it. Will go back.

My wife was at Maxwell's today and noticed the lunch special at LeCreole. I think she said it was $9.99 for a ribeye and baked potato. Pretty sure that's what this guy is talking about.

I'm not sure HT. First time i've heard Jimmy advertise this special. It had the place freakin packed I can tell you that. It was very good. I enjoyed it.
Plus the $1 martini's.
I hope they have it next Thursday cause if they do i'm going back.

they have lunch specials similar to this all the time. pretty great place to grab lunch if you are in the area. place probably makes a killing because there is a lot of business crowd and few options.
