2012 National Championship Game tickets were awarded in the following manner, in accordance with the LSU Priority Point System:
LSU Priority Point System Ticket Limitations
LSU Priority Rank (as of 10/31/11) Max # of Tickets
1-100 8
101-250 6
251-750 4
751-4057 2

What is your Rank and how many points is that rank?
Curious what it would take for me to move up to that range ~4000.

28.27 points is good for 5456 ranking. So in other words, a good bit more than that.

I'm 4182..........close.
In 2007 I was told that more became available and TAF called the next people in line so there is hope for others beyond 4,057!

That's what I'm trying to get out of people but no luck so far. 28.27 points is about 1400 spots short FWIW.

I think LSU does it about as fairly as you can....and I didn't make the cutoff. Will still be there though.

If they would cut 2 tickets off the first 3 ranking levels, there would be enough tickets for about 500 more people.

Well the way I see it is I can't afford MULTIPLE thousands of dollars ... SO what I would do is just pay more $$ to buy the tickets I wanted say Bama, BCSCG, etc.
I still don't understand the point of PHILANTHROPIC points if they use TOTAL points. Why even differentiate the 2? Does anyone know?
And tigerskin, how much you paying for tickets??? I have a feeling this is gonna be ridiculous.

Yep. I knew I had a slim to none chance but the way they do it is the most fair.
