Wild pig ribs and shoulder

A friend of mine gave me shoulder cuts and rib cuts from a few wild pig's he shot while hunting. As I have never cooked or smoked wild pork, can anyone offer some good recipes for smoking these cuts? I ask because I am thinking that a few alterations to standard methods for smoking pork would apply here.

Smell the meat to make sure it's fit to eat. I've had it smoked but it was dry. Best I've had was cooked covered on low heat (225 F max) for many hours. It was damn fine.

Sorry, it was wild pigs, not boars. Meat smells fine.

I would put the ribs n oven wrapped n fpil and slow cook with dry rub..... Hipefully they have a bunch of fat on them....meat will b greasy and slide off the bone! Yum!

best pork I ever had was from a small wild hog a friend shot.
Wild pig is really good. Just season like regular pork and smoke in smoker. It really doesn't need a lot of smoke.
edited to add - Season with garlic salt, black pepper. keep it simple because the meat has good flavor already - someone above said cook slow and that is a good way to go.

We cook dozens of them during hunting season.....already cooked 2 this fall and another this fri/sat.
Usually cook whole, but this one was skinned and butchered.
Baking ribs
Grilling chops
Smoking hams and shoulders
