I have about a dozen chickens, cut up, from a work event Friday. Now I need to convert them into tailgate fare next weekend. Any thoughts on what my options are with that much chicken? TIA

At a tailgate? Never would have put that one together, but now I'm interested.

Build you a chicken coup. Eggs everyday for the rest-o-yo-life.

cook whatever you want, but, about 8 of those birds need to go in 6 or 8 freezer bags, 10-4

Are they previously frozen?

A huge amount of gumbo is the obvious answer, along with invitations to the F&DB to eat it.

All went into freezer Saturday morning. Not cooking them until next weekend so had to do that. Gumbo or jambalaya were my first thoughts but I wanted more ideas for something different if possible.

Would invite all but will be at a tailgate in another state and not anLSU game.

All the more reason to make a kick arse gumbo.

Well, you could grill them, make chicken spaghetti, chicken sauce piquant, chicken etouffee (See Prudhomme's recipe), a lot of chicken stock, pastalaya, white bean chili with chicken (see recipe in the recipe book above-it's mine)....
