What kind of impact will Russell Shepard
have this Saturday in Morgantown?
A) Has solid game; establishes himself as #1 receiver over Reuben randle.
B) Does well & meets expectations as a good #2 receiver.
C) Will be very rusty and will make a few mistakes.
D) This post is stupid, go kill yourself lsutigerfan619

I'm not choosing D, so relax. Lol.

RS will play lights out. He has something to prove and lost games to make up. He hasn't missed practice, so he won't be rusty. My guess is with his talent and fresh legs, he will return a kick-off or punt for 6!!

I think they will have a hard time justifying taking touches away from the running backs i.e. RS on an end around or something.

Likewise, I don't think you punish OBJ and take touches away from him.

The two it affects will be Boone and Wright... RS will get their combined 2 to 4 touches IMO.

i'm going to go with no impact whatsoever... quite possibly the most overrated player on the roster.

E: He will see limited playing time because 1)the current receivers are doing so well (OB, etc) and 2)he's been a bad boy and will be released from the LM doghouse gradually.

I would not say overrated. Arguably underperforming overall but not overrated...

why do people keep saying this? You get your best playmakers; shep, randle, obj, Peterson and you put them all on the field, who ever is open gets the ball. It's really not that complicated. I think everyone can agree that when he gets the ball he has big play potential. More so then probably anyone else.

He provides us with another weapon, one not replicated by any of our current receiving core.

I imagine we will see him in certain packages, but not as the starter.

will be the 3rd WR and play his usual role in the offense.

I think he gets about 5-6 touches. one or two end around and gets 2 or 3 screen type passes. Does decent probably has about 50 -70 yards to show for it unless he brakes one.

Have a few touches and hopefully either he or OBJ will be matched up on a LB and break one.

E) solid game, a few catches, maybe a couple runs and some decoy stuff to give another play action look.

he won't be needed to be much of a factor on offense, because if there was ever a game where we're gonna try to pound the rock, this is it.

Is that why he had the same production as RR last year? His first year ever playing WR no less?
