If I didn't have a fantasy draft that night, I'd probably make the trip to see this. It would be nice if this kind of friendly worked out so that we might see some other matches in the city at some point.

Well, other than that all I can think of is the LNBST on the O-T, but really i just hate that I can't tell whether it's all an act or he's actually that out there.

Don't know if I can get away to go, don't think I can. America was the second match I ever went to, against Puebla, Summer of 1988, at the Azteca. Second leg of the hastily arranged "Campeon de Campeones."

It's going to be a wet one out there, but we'll finally see quality soccer in NOLA. Club America is legit. Bringing almost entire team. Tickets only $25. All the hate against Team Mexico is really immature. It's probably just thinly veiled racism since you don't see here any hate for club teams from Europe. No, you see lots of love for them, somehow considered refined and proper, the "chic wanna-be Euro American soccer fan convert" can't get enough of the Euro clubs. The hate for Club America is just dumb. Go support soccer. You want an MLS team? You think NOLA will ever have a shot if its soccer community is divided between the wanna-be Euro fans and the legit Latin fans? Only way NOLA will ever have a shot is if the two groups of fans come together.
But for those hating, not you RedPop, grow up.
