I am trying to remember the name of a place in Lafayette. It was on the thruway exiting Lafayette next to Taco Bell. I think there is a use car dealership there now. I thought it was Burger Time but I can't find anything on the internet. Anyone remember?

Are you talking about on the same side as Northgate Mall, almost across from the "Welcome Center"?

Yes, Burger Time..........Home of the Cajun Blaze!

That's it, I thought it was a chain but I can't find anything about it on the internet. It's been a long time but I remember the Cajun Blaze being good and the fries were good as well.

I'm pretty sure it was "Burger Tyme." There seems to be little to no info remaining online about them. I miss that Cajun Blaze. I think they did a spicy chicken as well.

I still remember the commercials, Burger Tyme, Bon Temps Poulet!

A few years back a co-worker told me that the family that owned it, the Moodys, also own a place in Crowley that sells a Cajun Blaze type burger. I don't remember the name of it but it's just south of I-10 if you get off at the Crowley exit. I went and tried it and while it was a good spicy burger, it wasn't quite as awesome as I remember it being when I was a kid.

There was one on Bertrand and Congress as well. The building is now home to excellent Cuban food(Cafe Habana City).

I'm not sure Mr Cook was before my time, I know I ate there (not at that location) but I don't remember much about it. What is Burger Chef?

Loved the cajun blaze. If I remember, it also came with spicy grilled onions. Yum!
