50% of weddings scheduled on LSU gameday end in divorce. The other 50% end in murder. Fact.

I just assume anybody who schedules anything on Saturdays during football season doesn't care if I go or not. Otherwise they wouldn't schedule anything on Saturday during football season :)

Also, there seems to be this notion that just because it isn't a home game, that it's ok to schedule these events.

Have a buddy who got married the Friday after Thanksgiving one year. Asked me to serve as a groomsman. Told him I'd do it, but I may be late because Arky/LSU was in Baton Rouge. He thought it was in Arky and was pissed. I was relieved of groomsman duty.

BTW, divorce not murder.

What if it's like Middle Tenn or Southern Michigan or the like?

See my previous post in the "LSU/AU to kickoff 2:30pm CBS per LSU twitter" thread.

What's with the weddings during the fall??? If you have a wedding during the fall in the south you should be boo'ed off the altar.

Couldn't agree more. That special place is shining Hitler's shoes while he does the "Pig Soooie" chant in a horrendous German accent all day long.

I'd like to see the numbers for LA weddings in the fall and see the jump on Oct 30th. One of my best friends is getting married that day, and his wedding gift got a major jump for he and his wife's consideration for LSU football.
