In the late fall the wind frequently comes from the north and exits to the south. Now that the 3 sides other than the north will be higher, I wonder if that will affect the wind. Could it give us a home field advantage ? Has anybody heard anything about this ? thanks :geauxtigers:...

To the OP: Better chance that weather would push the 2nd game to an extremely late start or even the next day. Taking game 1 might not be as good for the fans, but it's a better bet for the team! ...

In addition to all the good things you said about the SEC & LSU :
The school & the conference have the best tourney & CWS records over the last 25 years.
LSU finished #2 in SEC averaging the reg season & the tourney. And that is in THE conference that represents 14 TEAMS! SEC deserves at least 2...

No, most schools learned a long time ago that any advantage to playing the nite game ( cooler, fans are off from work. ect) is more than off set by the much greater possibility of the 2nd game being played really late or even delayed til the next day due to bad weather.
