big meal @ lunch instead of dinner + don't eat after 7pm

crazy that I've dropped almost 5 pounds in 5 days.

I'm not trying to be negative Rohan, but that's mostly just water weight. A lot of people see a quick drop the first week they make changes. Keep up the good work though.

Update for first 5K run. The course was a little longer than 3.1 Everyone got a measurement of 3.4-3.45 miles. My time was 36:25 for a split of 10:50. My calves started cramping up BAD on the last mile and it was a struggle to keep pace but I finished.

I was off of my 10 minute split goal but I'm still proud. Only 1 week of "training"!

Thanks! Super pumped I finished near my goal! Aside from my calves killing me, I feel like I could run another one which is encouraging. My wife is dead though

Tonight is my cousin's bday party, totally forgot about it. I'll try not to cheat but it's not going to be easy.

It was my birthday Tuesday. Wife shows up with a mini ambrosia cake. It was bittersweet. I didn't know if I was supposed to be happy or pissed that she did that.

Well... I've done did it. I PuttaDaForkDown!!!!

Started a new program last Monday... But first, a little history.

I've fought obesity all my life. I was a skinny kid up until 4th grade. At that point in my life my Asthma had begun to give me major problems. Doctors prescribed daily steroid injections and I took those for almost 6 years straight until I "outgrew" the asthma and could control it better with inhalors and such.

Unfortunately, this left me as a 300lb Junior in Highschool. I did a program through Childrens Hospital in the summer between my junior and senior year and lost 85lbs. Joined the football team my Senior year and started packing in the carbs and by the time I graduated I was back at 300.

Fastforward through all the ups and downs in life and up until last monday, I was 410lbs. Yes, I know... Huge : casty :, huh?

My brother in law recently signed on as a distributor for Advocare and I started their 24 Day Challenge program this week. So far, so good. 10lbs down!

I also joined the local Planet Fitness Gym and have been going 3 days/week.

I'm 36 yrs old. 6' 0.5" tall. Started out at 410lbs. My goal is 250lbs.

Week 1 results:

410/400/250
