Not sure how I've not seen this thread before, but here goes.
I'm 5'8 and after Xmas I was at 210
By FAR the heaviest I've ever been by a mile. Here's what I've done since:
Cut out all soft drinks, fast food, and high fat cajun foods (The 3rd was how I gained so much weight)
I was eating about 1700 calories per day and from Xmas to 3 weeks ago I got down to 195. Since then, I bought what's called the "Body Bugg" which has definitely helped in logging calories and showing how much I've burned throughout an entire 24 hour period. I just recently started working out about 10 days ago and I've dropped an additional 5 lbs to an even 190.
Right now I'm eating about 1200 calories and burning about 3k per day. I've also really gotten addicted to water and drink about 2 gallons per day.
I'll keep updating this thread once per week. My goal is to get down to 170. I made a deal with my wife. If I hit the 170...it's PIIHB time
How's that for motivation
