Places in BR to buy Muffuletta Bread

The wife made a mean olive salad this past week and we decided to make a few muffuletta's. Everything was great except the bread we got from Target. It was Italian loaf but it was to hard when it came out the oven.
Any places in town to get "real" muffuletta bread?

I would check Whole Food$ and Maxwells Market as well.

Pocorello's or perhaps Anthony's eye-talian deli

Yep, Pokie has it. It is a small place, but he has lots of goodies on his shelves.

Tangentially related, but I've had the Muffuletta at Monjuni's on Highland 3 times now (including last night), and it's fantastic.
I haven't had a Central Grocery one in years (or any others in N.O., for that matter), so maybe my palate is forgetful, but Monjuni's is as good as I can recently remember.
I don't know if they make their own bread or get it from Poc's; wouldn't hurt to ask.

I have the same problem finding good muff bread. I bought an Italian loaf from Tom Thumb and didn't heat it....I actually prefer my muff bread at room temp....and it was decent.

Gambino's probably carries it. Isn't there one on Goodwood?
